You will administer medications, perform assessments, document care, and collaborate with physicians and nurses. Alabama LPN licensure and CPR certification are required, and correctional healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN license in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients within the correctional facility.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Complete nursing assessments and monitor patients for changes in condition.
• Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare needs.
• Communicate patient concerns and changes in condition to medical providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Assist with chronic and acute care needs.
• Promote continuity of care throughout the facility.
