Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, maintain LPN scope of practice.
• Participate in development of an interdisciplinary care plan.
• Implement care plan according to biophysical, psychosocial and age needs.
• Monitor patient outcomes and report abnormal findings.
• Administer medications per standards and policies.
• Document patient status per unit procedures.
• Maintain required Board of Nursing education.
• Document according to federal and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned within LPN scope.
