Job summary
Sanford Health in Bloomfield, NE is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide skilled nursing care in a 70-bed long-term and post-acute facility. You will work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 pm–6:30 am) with every-other weekend/holiday rotation, administering medications and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team.
Eligible candidates hold an LPN license with current state credentials; ND IV requirements may apply if applicable.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current unencumbered LPN license and state board eligibility.
- IV therapy/management skills may be required; in North Dakota, specific training/certification may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents under supervision.
- Demonstrate nursing principles and apply age/population-specific standards per care plan.
- Administer medications or treatments as ordered and ensure safety of residents.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, and diet.
- Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality; work with interdisciplinary team.
