Good Samaritan, Canistota, SD, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide professional nursing care in our long‑term care facility. This full‑time role supports a 12‑hour night shift, 40 hours per week, across the care team.

You will assess residents, administer medications, document outcomes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, compassionate, and resident‑centered care daily.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing preferred.
• Must have an unencumbered LPN license and maintain required competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care under supervision in long term care.
• Assess residents, administer medications, document outcomes and care.
• Communicate with health care providers and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to support resident well‑being.
