Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an LPN for the Orthopedic Joint Replacement, Bariatric, Surgical Unit on the night shift. The LPN will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider, and collaborate with the care team to implement the care plan.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, current Michigan LPN license, current BLS, and pharmacology exam with HFHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• For the ambulatory setting, previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Under the delegated authority of a registered nurse or provider, the LPN uses nursing judgment in provision of nursing care.
• Performs a variety of technical and routine nursing services.
• Collaborates with the health care team in developing, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care plan.
