Job summary

Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is seeking an LPN for the Orthopedic Joint Replacement, Bariatric, Surgical Unit on the night shift. The LPN will provide nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse or provider, and collaborate with the care team to implement the care plan.

The role requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, current Michigan LPN license, current BLS, and pharmacology exam with HFHS.

Qualifications

• For the ambulatory setting, previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Qualifications - External

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing School.
• For the ambulatory setting, previous ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Successful completion of HFHS pharmacology exam for the LPN.
• Current BLS.
• LPNs that work in home care environments must have reliable daily transportation and will be required to maintain insurance, acceptable driving record according to HFHS Policy 4.09, and meet fingerprinting eligibility standards.
