Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to care for pediatric or adult patients during night shifts. The role offers hourly pay of $32-$36 and a schedule from Sunday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Incorporates nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes in response to changes in patient condition and informs supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education and discharge planning.
