AllianceHealth Durant is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for full-time night shift in the Med/Surg department. You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer medications, and help develop care plans to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Current Oklahoma LPN license.
• Ability to administer medications and monitor patients.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control and patient care standards.
• Able to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Assist with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
