Qualifications

• Completion of a NYS-approved Practical Nursing program.
• Hold or obtain Licensed Practical Nurse license and current registration.
• BLS certification from ECMCC provider at appointment.
• Special requirements vary by position: ECMCC vs Health Department (driver’s license if Health Department).

Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care to residents or patients in LTC or hospital settings.
• Administer and document medications and IV infusions as applicable.
• Record vital signs, weights, and other patient data.
• Assist with treatments and procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Perform charge duties when required and transport patients as needed.
