Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Virginia seeks a licensed practical nurse for night shift 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. to provide direct nursing care and supervise CNAs.

Duties include coordinating with physicians, updating care plans, administering medications, and ensuring infection controls. The LPN will document care, participate in rounds, perform phlebotomy, IV therapy, wound care, tube feeding, and assist with admissions and discharges.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions.
• CPR Healthcare Provider certification is required or must be obtained before employed.
• Two years’ experience as an LPN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise certified nursing assistants and coordinate resident care.
• Administer medications and document according to five rights and infection control practices.
• Participate in rounds and communicate changes in residents’ conditions to physicians.
• Perform phlebotomy, IV therapy, wound care, and routine nursing assessments.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges and update plans of care.
