Genesiscareers is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for a night shift (7 p.m.–7 a.m.). The role involves providing high-quality nursing care under RN supervision, evaluating residents, and contributing to care plans.

You will administer medications, document changes, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Current LPN licensure and BLS/CPR are required, with state-specific certifications as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification as required by state practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
