Job summary

Genesiscareers is seeking qualified licensed practical nurses to cover night shifts in our care facilities in Philadelphia. You will evaluate residents, assist with assessments, administer medications per orders, and supervise unlicensed staff to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements include graduation from an approved practical nursing program, current licensure or pending licensure, and up-to-date BLS/CPR certification as applicable by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
• Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensure.
• Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition and report changes in condition.
• Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications and performs treatments per physician orders.
• Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
