Job summary
Hall of Fame Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday). The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, accurate history taking, vital signs, wound care, injections, and coordination with families.
The ideal candidate will hold an LPN license, be able to work in a multidisciplinary team, and maintain high standards of health and safety.
Qualifications
- Must have completed LPN license program.
- Experience providing diverse basic care.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards.
Responsibilities
- Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
- Take and record measurements of blood pressure, temperature and heart rate.
- Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and side-effects.
- Monitor patients’ condition including input/output and charts.
- Assist patients with daily activities such as eating and bathing.
- Administer injections and prescribed medications, dress wounds.
- Collect samples for lab testing as assigned.
- Provide emotional and psychological support when needed.
- Communicate with patients’ family to provide guidance and release instructions.
