Job summary

Orchard View Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsport, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the night shift on a part-time basis. The role provides nursing care, supervises CNAs/CMAs, and ensures alignment with physician orders and facility policy.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to monitor residents, document care, and support resident outcomes while maintaining infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in Tennessee.
• Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor team members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including treatments and medication administration.
• Supervise CNAs/CMAs and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes promptly.
• Participate in care planning and documentation.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards on the unit.
• Foster a positive, team-centered environment focused on resident outcomes.
