Job summary

Orchard View Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsport, TN is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care and supervise CNAs/CMAs within a dedicated interdisciplinary team. You will deliver treatments, wound care, and med administration, participate in care planning, document care accurately, and promote infection control and safety on the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current, unencumbered LPN license in Tennessee.
• Long-term Care/skilled Nursing experience preferred.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care including treatments, wound care, and medication administration.
• Supervise and support CNAs/CMAs, delegate tasks appropriately.
• Monitor resident conditions and report significant changes.
• Participate in care planning, documentation, and resident/family education.
• Ensure accurate documentation and logs; promote infection control and safety.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented environment focused on resident outcomes.
