Downs Care and Rehab in Downs, KS is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring clinical team. Competitive salary starting at $30/hr with experience and a strong benefits package are included.

The LPN will monitor residents, administer medications, follow physician orders, and supervise nursing assistants to ensure care plan adherence. The role requires KS LPN licensure and CPR certification, with a focus on elder care and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure required by KS Board of Nursing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Desire to work with the elderly.
• Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents, monitoring condition and needs.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Ensure narcotics policies and procedures are followed and report changes.
• Oversee NAR staff to ensure care plans are followed.
• Complete documentation and assist with admissions and discharges.

Education
