Job summary

The Rehabilitation Center of Independence seeks an experienced Charge Nurse (LPN) to lead nursing care in a skilled nursing facility at night. You will supervise CNAs, coordinate daily clinical operations, and support residents and families with compassionate leadership.

Requirements include Missouri LPN licensure, CPR/BLS, and 1–2 years in SNF/LTC or geriatric care, plus strong judgment and communication. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany a meaningful role.

Qualifications

Active Missouri LPN license is required.
CPR/BLS certification required.
1–2 years in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing preferred.
Strong clinical judgement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policies.
Perform resident assessments and monitor condition changes.
Supervise and support CNAs.
Assign resident care duties and coordinate daily workflow.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and providers.
