Job summary

The Blossoms at Nashville Rehab & Nursing Center is seeking a Charge Nurse / Shift Supervisor to provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants. This role guides day-to-day operations, ensures compliance with policies, and coordinates shift services to maintain high-quality resident care.

Shifts available: 6p-6a. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for a limited time to qualified candidates. Join a team focused on compassionate patient care and collaborative nursing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and guidelines.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure proper documentation.
• Cooperate with other departments to meet patient care needs.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys as required.
• Handle admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Complete accident/incident reports and report to the Director of Nursing Services.
• Oversee charting, medication administration, and nursing records.
