Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital, a UHS facility in Dearborn, MI, is seeking a licensed practical nurse for full-time night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.) in a 144-bed behavioral health setting. The LPN will provide direct care, assist with admissions/discharges, medications, and documentation under RN supervision.

The role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities in behavioral health and co-occurring disorders, and a strong emphasis on safety and therapeutic milieu.

Qualificações

• Graduate of LPN nursing program.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures and medication administration.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care according to nursing care plans and treatment plans.
• Assist with behavior management, crisis control, seclusion/restraint under RN direction.
• Administer medications and document treatments per policies.
