Metropolitan Behavioral Hospital, a facility of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the full-time day shift (7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.).

The role involves direct patient care in a 144-bed behavioral health setting, with emphasis on safety, documentation, and coordination with the nursing team. The LPN will support admissions, medication administration, and patient education, under the supervision of registered nurses.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LPN nursing program.
• Knowledge of current nursing procedures and medications.
• State licensure to practice in Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per care plans and treatment plans.
• Assist with behavior management, crisis control, seclusion and restraint under RN direction.
• Assist with admissions and discharges; administer medications and document administrations.
• Support medication education and monitor treatment effectiveness.
