Job summary

Masonicare at Mystic, CT is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shift (32 hours per week) in Assisted Living / Memory Care Unit. Under supervision, you will provide nursing care, educate residents and families, and collaborate on resident service plans.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited School of Nursing, active LPN license, and CPR certification; 1–2 years clinical experience preferred. Supervisory and medication management duties are involved as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to resident care plans by data collection and care planning participation.
• Communicates with residents, families, colleagues and health care team to meet needs.
• Provides education and counseling to residents and families on AL procedures and care needs.
• Documents information timely and accurately in the client service record.
• Oversees medication management under supervision and collaborates with SALSA/RN designee and physicians.
