Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily logistics operations, coach staff, and ensure safety and efficiency across shifts.

Under the Manager's supervision, you will plan workflows, monitor KPIs, and implement process improvements to meet client service standards. The role requires a strong team leader with hands-on coaching, adherence to health and safety policies, and the ability to coordinate with customers and internal teams to maintain high performance

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED required.
• 1 year or more experience in transportation, warehouse or distribution preferred.
• 0 to 1 year direct supervisory/leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day logistics operations.
• Plan and review logistics processes with the Logistics Manager to meet standards.
• Establish work schedules and coordinate activities for optimal shift logistics.
• Be accountable for site KPI performance.
• Collaborate with customers in all aspects of operations.
• Hold regular team meetings to monitor progress and coach staff.
• Promote diversity and inclusion and improve internal processes.
• Conduct performance evaluations and recognize achievements.
• Address performance issues through corrective actions.
