Job summary

VPNE Parking Solutions LLC is seeking a Linen Worker to ensure linens, towels, and fabrics are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use in a hospital setting.

You will transport linen, manage inventory on carts and shelves, and maintain a clean linen room while adhering to safety practices and PPE usage. This entry-level role involves patient-facing environment and teamwork with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk throughout the hospital.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and reach up to 5 feet.
• Stand for long periods and bend at the waist.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Comfortable handling infectious waste with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Transport filled bins of clean linens.
• Be cognizant of inventory for linen items on carts, shelves, and closets.
• Record quantities of linen items.
• Load linen items in carts or shelves and maintain linen room cleanliness.
• Transport linen carts to distribution locations throughout the hospital.
• Communicate with hospital staff.
• Collect soiled linen from the laundry chute for return to the laundry.
• Receive daily delivery of bulk linen.
• Follow safety practices for yourself, patients, and coworkers.
• Report incidents per company policy.
• Fulfill other duties assigned by supervisor or manager.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE use when handling chemicals and equipment.
