Job summary

Revolution Company in Flint, MI is seeking a Night-Shift Assistant Line Operator to process plastics through a shredder and into the wash and extrusion lines. You will work in a team environment and contribute to safe, efficient operation of the reprocessing department.

Responsibilities include operating the shredder and feed conveyor, moving materials with a forklift, maintaining quality, and keeping the area clean between jobs. Forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Math skills: addition, subtraction, and multiplication for accurate reports.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs periodically, 50 lbs frequently, 100 lbs occasionally; move up to 900 lbs with pallet jack.
• Standing for extended periods in non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and SOPs.
• Operate forklift to move materials from warehouse to shredder area.
• Maintain quality by preventing contamination and color/type mixing during shredding.
• Operate shredder and feed conveyor safely.
• Lift and carry materials as required; use pallet jack for moving heavy loads.
• Clean equipment and area between jobs; assist extrusion operator.
• Possess forklift certification and maintain it.
• Complete tasks as assigned.
