Job summary

Revolution Company in Terre Haute, IN is seeking an Assistant Line Operator for its reprocessing department. You will process various types of plastic through shredder/grinder and prepare materials for sale or reprocessing.

The role requires teamwork, attention to safety, and ability to meet production goals. The position involves standing for long shifts in a non-climate controlled environment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating pallet jacks and forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Necessary math skills for accurate reporting (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Ability to read/write in English.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly, 50 lbs frequently, up to 100 lbs occasionally; move up to 900 lbs with pallet jack.
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours in a non-climate controlled environment.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shredder/grinder and guillotine equipment.
• Sort plastic scrap and prepare for guillotine cutting.
• Load conveyors and manage material handling up to 50 lbs per lift.
• Maintain quality standards and prevent cross-contamination of plastics.
• Keep equipment and work area clean between jobs.
• Complete assigned tasks as directed.
