Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Night Supervisor for Central Sterile Services. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of instruments, and ensure adherence to sterilization standards.

You will lead training for new staff, manage inventory, and work with surgical teams to timely deliver sterile instruments for procedures. Minimum 3 years CSS experience and CRCST certification required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising CSS staff and daily operations.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, policies and procedures.
• Ability to develop training programs for new staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate staff and daily operations in CSS.
• Assemble/disassemble case carts and ensure instrument delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal healthcare regulations.
