Aerotek is seeking a Lead Night Shift Welder to manage welding operations on the night shift in Tulsa, OK. This full-time role combines hands-on welding with team leadership, guiding welders on the floor and ensuring high-quality, on-time results across projects in a busy job shop.

Responsibilities include supervising welders, performing MIG, flux core, and TIG welding as needed, reading blueprints, and maintaining safety standards while keeping production moving through the night.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of structural welding experience using MIG and flux core processes.
• Experience reading blueprints and weld symbols to verify fabrication.
• Supervisory or lead experience on a welding team preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily welding operations on the night shift and serve as the primary point of contact for welding-related tasks.
• Oversee a team of welders, ensuring correct welds and adherence to procedures.
• Provide hands-on support on the shop floor for setups, techniques, and troubleshooting.
• Perform structural welding using MIG and flux core processes as required by projects.
• Read blueprints and weld symbols to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
• Coordinate workflow to keep production on schedule and minimize downtime.
• Maintain a safe, organized work area and promote safe practices among the team.
