Job summary

HSHS Medical Group is seeking a Supervisory Respiratory Therapist to lead clinical operations within the Respiratory Therapy Department across Illinois and Wisconsin facilities. You will coordinate patient care plans, collaborate with physicians, and mentor staff to ensure high-quality respiratory care.

The role requires an RRT or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in respiratory therapy and 1 year in leadership, with strong patient relations and team coordination skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in respiratory therapy is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy is preferred.
• Colleagues who meet educational requirements to become Registered by NBRC may be considered in lieu of degree requirement.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans and coordinates clinical aspects of the Respiratory Therapy Department to assure quality care.
• Collaborates with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Establishes personalized relationships with patients and their support systems; performs essential respiratory care functions.
