Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in the Chicago metro area is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for the night shift. This full-time position offers a base pay range of $33.50–$45.09 per hour with opportunities for shift differentials and a fast interview process.

You will work in the Cardiopulmonary/Respiratory Therapy department, providing respiratory care per physician orders and handling complex critical care cases.

Qualifications

• Must hold State RCP license.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate on hire and maintained.
• ACLS within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• PALS within 60 days of hire and maintained.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders.
• Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management.
• Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments.
• Implement patient-specific care plans.
• Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes.
• Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor.
• Respond to critical care situations and emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
