Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) to join our per diem team. You will provide respiratory care per physician orders and may serve as Lead RCP when supervisor is unavailable.

This role offers a base pay of $40.15–$43.80 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials, and a fast interview process. The position requires state RCP licensure, BCLS, ACLS within 60 days, and 2 years of RCP experience.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
• Current BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
• ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
• NRP preferred.
• PALS within 60 days.
• 2 years RCP experience preferred.
• Associate or B.S. degree preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders.
• Manage mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy.
• Administer aerosol treatments and airway management.
• Perform ABG analysis.
• Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments.
• Document care and outcomes; lead RCP during supervisor absence.
• Respond to critical care emergencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
