Requirements include 3+ years as an RRT in a hospital and 1+ year in critical care, NBRC credential, and Florida licensure.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in a hospital as an RRT
• 1+ years in critical care
• NBRC credential required for new hires in all states
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required

Responsibilities

• Provides frontline leadership and direct supervision to all staff on shift.
• Assumes management responsibilities in the absence of Respiratory leadership.
• Supervises delivery of cardiopulmonary care per policy and procedure.
• Monitors patient progress and reassesses respiratory care plans.
• Prioritizes tasks, communicates priorities, and delegates duties.
• Delivers and assists with emergent and routine respiratory therapy.
