Job summary

Southend Pharmacy, a subsidiary of Allia Health Group, seeks a QA Pharmacist to ensure compliance with 503A compounding standards and internal procedures. You will oversee quality systems, documentation, and continuous improvement to safeguard patient safety and product quality.

Responsibilities include audits, deviation investigations, CAPAs, and coordination of regulatory inspections, supporting change control and validation efforts as needed.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (multistate licensure is a plus).
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sterile compounding, preferably in a 503A pharmacy, with understanding of USP <797>, <795>, <800> and cGMP standards.
• 1+ year in a quality assurance or compliance-related role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA systems in alignment with USP <795>, <797>, <800>, and state regulations.
• Monitor, document, and investigate adverse events or product complaints; report to regulators; perform root cause analysis and CAPAs.
• Conduct and/or oversee routine audits of sterile and non-sterile processes, facilities, equipment, and documentation.
• Review and approve compounding records, batch release documents, and SOPs.
• Coordinate inspections by state or federal agencies and manage documentation.
