Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor of Patient Access to lead registration operations, improve patient flow, and ensure data integrity in a 24/7 department. You will supervise staff, coordinate the daily workflow across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency registrations, and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.

Qualifications

To qualify you must have a Bachelor’s Degree, with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, interact with, and maintain functional relationships with personnel at all levels within and outside of the organization.
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

Interact with NYULH administration to facilitate financial planning and decision-making.
Oversee patient registrations, insurance verification, and time of service collection.
Coordinate daily operations of registration areas and ensure data integrity.
Conduct quality audits and develop improvement plans.
Manage staffing, training, and scheduling within a 24/7 department.
Ensure compliance with policies, regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
