Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Lead Extrusion Associate for the Night - D Shift. The role supervises the extrusion line, reads schedules, and ensures production aligns with quality standards.

You’ll establish priorities, assign tasks, and support the team to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Excel/Word and PPE discipline is required for safe operations.

Qualifications

• Supervise the extrusion line to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, and work orders.
• Establish priorities, provide direction, assign tasks, coordinate and support the team.
• Maintain high-level quality control within the department.
• Wear the proper PPE and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Establish priorities, provide direction, assign tasks, coordinate, and support the team to ensure productivity and instill initiative
• Maintain high-level quality control within the department
• Determine work assignments and equipment needs based on work orders and/or oral instructions
• Complete daily logs
• Wear the proper PPE
• Working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations
• Must be able to take directions as well as multi-task in a fast-paced environment without supervision
• Walks/Stands/Climbs for 12 hours
• Strong computer knowledge in Excel and Word
• Frequently lifts 0-10 lbs. Occasionally lifts 10-50 lbs. Frequently carries 0-10 lbs; Occasionally carries 10-50 lbs
• Frequently bends, squats, climbs, kneels, twists, push/pull and reach overhead. Must use hands frequently for grasping, fine manipulation and push/pulling
• Must place high importance on producing a quality product
