Job summary

The Waukee Community School District is seeking a Lead Custodian at NWHS to supervise the night shift and maintain a clean, safe learning environment in the NWHS facility. The role requires four years of custodial experience in an educational setting, plus the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and district leaders.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, building administrators, co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Lead building custodial crew to accomplish tasks needed throughout the facility.
• Inspect others' runs and ensure productivity throughout the shift.
• Complete assigned building daily expectations, including vacuuming, trash collection and removal, stocking supplies, sweeping, mopping, floor cleaning, restrooms, and lunch room clean up.
