Qualifications

• High School Diploma or completion of sufficient education to perform duties.
• Previous experience in building and cleaning maintenance desirable.
• State Motor Vehicle Operator's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Check and secure building at beginning and end of shift for safety and cleanliness.
• Clean rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways and other areas to district standards.
• Sweep, mop, buff, strip and wax floors.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstery and blinds.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors and sills.
• Replace light bulbs and maintain equipment.
• Set up and break down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms.
• Clear snow from entrances and walkways and spread de-icing materials.
• Perform grounds-keeping tasks and assist with deliveries to classrooms and offices.
