BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse for Memorial Shiloh and Memorial Belleville with Night shift responsibilities. You will provide direct patient care, participate in care plans, and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Provides direct patient care within nursing standards.
• Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate degree.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team.
• Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care.
