Job summary

Bethany-Center-For-Rehabilitation-and-Healing in Fair Oaks, TN is seeking a part-time Laundry Aide for the 11:00pm-7:00am shift, with Fridays and Saturdays off. You will support the laundry department to ensure an adequate supply of clean linen for residents and their clothing, following facility procedures and safety guidelines.

The role involves washing, drying, folding, and distributing laundry, maintaining cleanliness of the laundry area, and coordinating with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Sort soiled laundry and linens and place in appropriate containers.
• Sort items requiring stain removal.
• Wash and dry linen and garments according to procedures.
• Fold, count, stack, and distribute clean laundry to residents daily.
• Clean laundry room floors and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor and keep supply needs informed.
• Follow established safety, infection control and sanitation policies.
