Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an production operator to support our manufacturing line in Tennessee. You will operate machinery, read production orders, and work with line staff to meet customer and company goals while adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic Microsoft knowledge, and experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, and pneumatic tools. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods on a busy production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a related area.
• Basic Microsoft knowledge.
• Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, and various pneumatic equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually.

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine and instruct line help to meet production goals and requirements.
• Inspect equipment for safety.
• Read and understand production orders.
• Meet productivity and quality requirements.
• Use forklift, crane, and manual handling of materials with proper documentation.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisor, and management.
• Maintain promotability to Operator II and Operator III.
• Stand and walk 8 to 12 hours daily; climb on/off equipment and ladders.
