Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a production associate for 1st shift to operate machinery and guide line workers to meet production and quality goals. You will read production orders, maintain safety, and work with forklift, crane, and various tools. Must be able to stand 8–12 hours and handle outdoor conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic Microsoft knowledge. Willingness to learn and grow toward Operator II/III is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Microsoft knowledge basic.

Responsibilities

• Operate machine and guide line workers to meet production goals and quality requirements.
• Support safety environment and complete observations.
• Inspect equipment for safety.
• Read and understand a production order.
• Meet productivity requirements.
• Meet quality requirements for company and customers.
• Use forklift, crane, and manual material handling with proper documentation.
• Read tape.
• Communicate effectively with team, supervisor, and management.
• Maintain promotability to Operator II/III.
• Stand/walk 8–12 hours daily.
• Climb on/off equipment and ladders.
• Work in varying outdoor conditions (hot/cold/rain/shine).
