Job summary

Hennig in Illinois is seeking a Machine Operator for day and night shifts, offering a 15% night shift premium. Responsibilities include operating CNC equipment, reading blueprints, and using a crane to move steel sheets to the laser bed, followed by unloading finished parts.

Adherence to safety rules and proactive problem-solving are expected. Must be able to operate a forklift, lift up to 50 lbs, and stand up to 10 hours per shift while maintaining strong housekeeping and following directions.

• Working experience on CNC Machines as Machine Operator
• Knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication.
• Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and other shop drawing aids.
• Utilizing a crane to move sheets of steel to the bed of the laser machine.
• Unload parts from the laser bed
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
