Job summary

Actalent in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Night Shift Courier to securely collect, transport, and deliver laboratory samples, supplies, and documentation across on-site and regional locations. This role emphasizes safety, chain-of-custody, and accurate shipment logging while maintaining SOPs and OSHA guidelines.

The position is permanent and fully onsite, with 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shifts, a 3-on/2-off pattern, and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

Lift heavy boxes, push carts, load/unload supplies safely.
Log shipments accurately and verify chain-of-custody documentation.
Willingness to work irregular hours, rotating shifts, or on-call schedules.

Responsibilities

Collect, transport, and deliver laboratory samples, supplies, materials, and documentation between on-site locations and designated regional sites.
Move internal mail, medical samples, and GMP/non-GMP materials securely and efficiently.
Package and label sensitive medical goods to prevent damage, loss, or contamination.
Track all shipments and maintain logs for materials handled.
Follow SOPs, OSHA guidelines, and chain-of-custody protocols at all times.
Verify chain-of-custody documentation for relevant materials and ensure proper handoff.
