Job summary

Aculabs is seeking a Medical Courier Driver to safely transport laboratory specimens—including blood, urine, stool, and other samples—from care facilities, field offices, or employees. You will ensure specimen integrity and timely delivery while adhering to transport protocols.

The role involves a 1:00 pm–9:30 pm schedule Monday through Friday with weekend and holiday rotation. Competitive pay, PTO, growth opportunities, health insurance, and retirement benefits are offered.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Must be an insured driver.
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Picks up specimens from designated facilities and delivers to the laboratory or designated location.
Arrives at facilities on schedule and maintains timely transport.
Safely transport laboratory specimens to ensure integrity during transit.
Transfer specimens from refrigerator to cooler and deliver promptly.
Follow all driving laws, safety protocols, and company vehicle procedures.
Inform accessioning personnel when specimens have been delivered.
