Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor and Delivery in El Paso, Texas. The role involves direct clinical care for obstetric patients during the night shift and supervision of staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and AHA BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP are welcomed. 1 year of RN experience for PRN status; BSN/MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Must have 1 YOE of RN experience for PRN status.
• Current license to practice; AHA BLS; ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct clinical patient care per shift.
• Supervises staff and ensures safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Coordinates patient care with the nursing process and hospital policies.
• Administers medications safely and timely according to policy.
• Supports hospital incident command system (HICS) responsibilities as needed.
