Job summary

IdealHire Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Labor and Delivery unit in Akron, OH for the night shift (3x12s, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).

The contract role requires active L&D experience, Ohio or Compact RN license, and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications. Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license — must be in hand at submission.
• Minimum of 12 months of permanent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Active BLS certification — must be in hand at submission.
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at submission.
• Active NRP certification — must be in hand at submission.
• One professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty from within the past 12 months.
• Locals are welcome and accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit during night shift hours
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Complete required facility orientation modules and maintain annual competency requirements as directed
• Demonstrate ECG rhythm recognition and safe medication administration competency during orientation
