Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Ohio. An active OH or compact RN license is required, with current BLS certification for all direct patient care personnel.

NRP is required for Birth Center RNs. The nurse will work in the Labor and Delivery unit on a night schedule (19:00–07:30), with potential floats within the health system to cover contracted hours and care for laboring and postpartum patients.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license.
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required for all direct patient care personnel
• NRP certification required for RNs in the Birth Center
• License verification dated within 30 days of start required

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor and Delivery unit
• Night shift schedule, 19:00-07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• May be floated to another unit or care site within the health system to maintain contracted hours
• Provide skilled nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Located in Ohio, subject to a 60-mile radius rule for eligibility
• References and COVID vaccination documentation required for consideration
