Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) for a 13-week contract in Seattle. The night shift runs 19:00–07:30, with 3x12-hour shifts per week, delivering care in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

You will monitor maternal and fetal status, assist with deliveries including cesarean sections, provide postpartum care and patient education, and uphold strict safety and infection control standards. Epic EHR experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications required; AWHONN Intermediate preferred.
• Epic electronic health record experience is mandatory.
• No pending licenses accepted.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery.
• Provide support and education to patients and families regarding the labor and delivery process.
• Assist in high-risk deliveries and surgical procedures, including cesarean sections.
• Perform postpartum assessments and care for the mother and newborn.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards.
