Job summary

Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, MA, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the maternity/pediatric unit. This full-time night shift offers an hourly pay range of $45.25 to $72.12, with a 36/40-hour schedule and a 10:30pm–7:30am shift.

The RN will provide direct and indirect patient care, lead the care team, and support patient education and family-centered care while meeting nursing practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• RN licensed in Massachusetts (BLS).
• ACLS, NRP and AWHONN fetal monitoring education required within three months.
• Minimum one year medical/surgical or pediatric experience preferred.
• At least one year maternity experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care on the unit.
• Lead and coordinate care as a health care team leader.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workload effectively.
