Job summary
Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a Clinical Nurse in Labor and Delivery. You will provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum, while collaborating with an experienced team including NICU specialists in a hospital with a Level III NICU.

Qualifications
- 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- ASN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- Current Maryland RN license or compact state.
- BLS certification; life support as required by unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
- Monitor fetal heart tones, administer medications, and coach patients through labor.
- Anticipate and respond to complications using clinical protocols.
- Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other OB/GYN procedures.
- Document care and patient progress using EPIC.
- Collaborate with 24-hour Patient Safety Nurses, NICU teams, and physicians during high-risk deliveries.
