Job summary

Holland Hospital's Labor & Delivery unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient-centered care during the night shift. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safety and positive outcomes for mothers and newborns.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN license (or by end of orientation) and BLS. BSN and specialty certifications are preferred; prior L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Registered Nursing Program required.
• Current Michigan RN License (or completed by end of orientation) required.
• Current BLS for the Healthcare Provider (or completed within 60 days of hire) required.
• BSN preferred.
• Certification in specialty area preferred.
• 2 years RN experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
• Experience with electronic documentation systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery.
• Lead and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and outcomes.
• Provide patient and family teaching.
• Maintain professional practice standards and comply with state regulations.
